The couple sits down and discusses what they want in their relationship as judgment day draws closer in this exclusive preview of the April 19 episode. married at first sight, airris steps up and reveals that he needs Jasmine “To continue speaking his mind.”
He continues, “My intention is just to take all the tools we’ve got from the experts. Like, we’re not where we want to be, but we have all the resources to get there so don’t really try.” There is no excuse.
Airis wants Jasmine to “continue to work on her communication” and is well aware that it “isn’t always easy” with her. Airris pledges to “create a safer environment for you to be vulnerable, so that you feel it is okay for you to speak up.”
He acknowledges that there has been “growth” followed by “low moments and high moments”. He continues, “It hasn’t been easy at all. I just applaud Jasmine for how beautifully she has handled everything.
They’ve had their fair share of tough conversations, but Ayres admits they haven’t done a good job of “just creating a safe space for her to feel comfortable enough to speak up.” He salutes Jasmine in front of everyone because he knows it can’t be easy, and she breaks down in tears.
He knows that Jasmine could have responded completely differently. “I just want to congratulate you on your strength,” Aeris tells Jasmine.
Earlier in the season, Aeris admitted to Jasmine that it was going to take “a lot” for her to fall in love. “I think it’s going to be a challenge but a good one. I would love to be someone’s first love,” he said. Aeris’ confession left Jasmine a little unsure about their future. married at first sight Airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on Lifetime.
