Bahama Baha March Review 2022

If you really need the sun, sand, relaxation, really good food, and lots of cocktails, you’ve come to the right place, my friend.I have your solution here — and it Bahamar.. I visited the Bahamas Mega Resort a few months ago and it was a blissful vacation on a real tropical beach. It was a trip that all of us deserve after the turmoil of the last two years.

Bahamar was built for a long weekend, especially if you live on the east coast. The resort is a 15-minute drive from Nassau International Airport on the Bahamas’ New Providence Island. And when you arrive at Bahamar, you don’t have to leave. The resort has everything. With an Instagram-worthy pool, pristine beaches, world-class dining, spectacular water parks, stunning spas and casinos, all in a ridiculously gorgeous hotel over 1,000 acres. Continue scrolling to read my thoughts on the Bahamas, one of the best resorts in the Bahamas. In addition, there are all the best places to hang, eat, drink and chill your TF while you’re there.

Where you are staying

There are three hotels in Bahamar. For families Grand Hyatt ($), Fancy SLS ($$), and super luxury Rosewood ($$). They are all on the grounds of Bahamar, with plenty of pools, restaurants, bars and other cool facilities. My husband (Hello Rob) and I SLS And it was great. The spacious, white room had two (!!) showers, a large lounge area with a kitchen and washer / dryer, a luxurious king bed, and plenty of outdoor space with views of the resort. And SLS lobby? The airy wood and stone lounge space turns into a chic bar at night. I think SLS is the trendiest and hiptest hotel of the three options in Bahamar, but it doesn’t have to be an influencer type (though there are many, but there are many content operations).

What you are doing

Relax by the pool

Bahamar has so many different pools that are dazzling (I counted more than 8 while I was there), but if you’re staying at SLS, it’s right next to the lobby. You can access the private pool. The atmosphere is very Miami day club. Loud House music, Veuve buckets, and a gathering of designers in their 20s and 30s. Swimsuit..It’s a lot of fun on my friends’ weekends, but the rest of the scene isn’t accurate, so Rob and I Baja Bay Beach Club.. This place is the most brilliant! The infinity pool is huge and overlooks the ocean, the lounge chairs are incredibly comfortable and well shaded. Buying a chair at the Baja Bay Beach Club costs at least $ 100 (more if you need a daybed or cabana), but it’s a big deal because it’s easy to use for food and drink tabs. Not that, IMO.

Hanging on the beach

I’m a beach girl in my heart, so every morning I took a coffee walk along Cable Beach (the name of the beach where Bahamar sits) and then crouched down in one of the lounge chairs with a book (very). Recommended for therapist To read the beach easily). The sand is sugary white and the sea is clear, calm and warm like a bathtub.

Explore the water park

Baja Bay’s water park is on a different level, so forget about the image of the water park you currently have in your brain (Hurricane Harbor, Someone ??). It’s huge, very clean and everything is brand new. Rob and I spent one morning floating in a flowing pool, running down a tube slide and trying to bodyboard in a wave simulator. We literally had the most fun. Leave it there for a few hours and hang out and do the same.

Relax at the spa

Rob and I spent the day at all wellness activities and spa services ESPA Spa in Bahamar This is highly recommended if (1) you really need an hour or more of massage to really relax and (2) there are rainy days in the weather forecast.

First, we started the day with a yoga class on a private terrace overlooking the sea. It was like a light Vinyasa class — a good stretch, but not intense. Then we headed to the IV lounge for 30 minutes Infuz treatment.. Basically, you sit in a large comfortable chair and your doctor will set you up with a drip full of vitamins and minerals that may help restore your hydration levels and boost your immunity. Great if you are very active or have too many ram punches the night before.

Next was a massage. We chose 80 minutes Mindful massage for two people— Beginning with a few minutes of breathing and visualization, the therapist performs deep tissue massage in different zones of the body, from the feet to the scalp. After 80 minutes, the whole body feels like Jero.

We finished Wellness Day with an afternoon meditation session. I’ve never really meditated before, but WOW — obviously I missed it. My brain went to that peaceful place where you were half awake and half asleep, and it was awesome. It’s no exaggeration to say that the session was successful for him as Rob began to snore along the way.

Where you are drinking and eating

A huge number of options can be overwhelming, so I’ve broken down a must-see spot for you:

Great for light meals

  • Da pork bowl shack— Grab and go pork bowl that you can take to the pool or beach
  • Cleo— The best spot for abo toast and coffee in the SLS lobby
  • Beach street bird— Beachside food truck serving wings and chicken sandwiches

    The best bar

    • Manor bar— Homemade cocktails in a cozy library-like lounge
    • Monkey bar— Go looking for a glass of wine or a champion before dinner

      • Cafe Boule— Daniel Boulud’s gorgeous French cuisine (Loop de Mer, also known as Bran Gino, is a * chef’s kiss *)
      • Marcus of Bahamar— Marcus Samuelson’s fresh fish and steak

        When you go

I visited Bahamar in late October. Although technically considered off-season, there are some perks at this time. For one thing, the flights are pretty cheap (my round-trip ticket for United Airlines was $ 300), the congestion is minimal, and the price is a bit cheaper. In addition, the weather was warm and the temperature and sea temperature were mild at 82 degrees Celsius. What are the drawbacks? Rain and clouds. We experienced a shower every afternoon, so if you want to maximize the chances of a sunny day throughout your vacation, book between December and April. According to the weather-experts-and locals, beach days are basically guaranteed every day.
