The full-length trailer for Barbie is out. So far the plot of the Greta Gerwig-directed film, which stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, has remained tightly wrapped. However, the fresh footage finally reveals what the summer flick is about.
The trailer begins with Margot Robbie’s Barbie telling Ryan Gosling’s Ken about to have a huge blowout party with choreography planned. We then see several Barbies and Kens enjoying their lives in plastic until Robbie’s death is mentioned in Barbie. Things are not perfect.

Barbie senses something is wrong when she takes a cold shower and gets flat feet, among other unusual occurrences. She then drives to Barbieland with Ken in her car. both make their way to LA
Chaos ensues when Barbie and Ken are arrested in the real world. The two interact with the humans while the evil toy makers embark on a mission to put Barbie back in the box.
The film’s official synopsis reads, “After being banished from Barbieland for looking less than perfect-looking, Barbie ventures out to the human world to find true happiness.”
Barbie which also stars Simu Liu, Dua Lipa, Will Ferrell, Emma Mackey, Michael Cera, Kate McKinnon and others is set to hit theaters on July 21, 2023.
