Oklahoma’s Jocelyn Alo hits 96th home run to set NCAA softball record

Joslyn Alo hit 96th She became a home run hitter in her career on Friday night and became NCAA’s greatest home run hitter in history.

The Oklahoma star made a notch in her historic home run during six innings of a Snurs match against the University of Hawaii. Alo’s family was in the crowd for an important occasion, with Slugger’s hometown just 30 minutes from the Hawaii campus.

Senior’s record-breaking home run raised Sooners to 9-0, helping the team win 11-0 and improving the season’s No. 1 Oklahoma to 18-0.

Alo broke the 2015 record of 95 home runs for former OU infielder Lauren Chamberlain and reached the landmark in 224 games against the Snurs.
