During her chat with Pinkvilla, Priyanka Chopra was asked why she chose to speak about it now, to which she replied, “No, I was on a podcast where I was talking about my whole life. Seems like I’m far from it. A lot of things have happened in my life. In the last 5 years, I’ve been in a really good place, especially. I’ve been able to find the kind of work I’ve been looking for. That’s why it’s easy for me to talk about the hard times in my life because I’m so far away from them. It happened a long time ago. Furthermore, Priyanka said that she kept herself strong and confident during her tough days and pointed out how clever the world is in pushing you down even further. Anything else might happen if you don’t get it, or if a movie flopped. This is what you do after failure, and after failure is when you have to find your worth, and that’s what my parents taught me. The world will kick you too when you fail it is tough because that is human nature. The one who is down, we kick him. The one who is smaller, kicks him. That’s our nature as people, but in those times when you’re down, when you’re alone, isolated, and you’re kicking, can you find your worth in those times”.
