Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, in a recent media interaction ahead of the release of his film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan”, revealed that he was in talks with late actor-director Satish Kaushik for “Tere Naam 2”. Kaushik, who passed away last month, directed the original “Tere Naam” film, which was a romantic drama and starred Salman Khan in the lead role of Radhe.
Salman Khan shared20 years ago, he had heard only one line idea from Kaushik for “Tere Naam 2” and was sure that it was going to be a great film. He further added that he would consider doing a sequel with the same idea in the future.
Late veteran actor and director Satish Kaushik had also worked with Salman Khan in the film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” and was about to direct a film under Salman’s supervision. However, fate had different plans.
Salman Khan had earlier shared a tribute to Satish Kaushik on social media, and actor Anupam Kher recently hosted a get-together in memory of the late star on the occasion of his birth anniversary. Anil Kapoor was also present on this occasion.
Salman said, “Always loved and respected him and will always remember him for the man he was. May his soul rest in peace and strength to the family and loved ones. .. #RIP Satish ji.
Although Satish Kaushik’s untimely DAmys has left a void in the industry, her legacy will be celebrated forever. The news of a possible “Tere Naam 2” movie has got the fans of the original movie excited and are eagerly waiting for further updates.
