Salman Khan is gearing up for the launch of his upcoming film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan”, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on April 21, marking an Eid release after a gap of four years. The celebrated actor is leaving no stone unturned to promote the film and create ample anticipation among the audience. Meanwhile, he has started planning for his next project which is slated to release on Eid 2024.
“Eid has since become synonymous with Salman Khan wanted (2009). In 2024, some big films have occupied the Republic Day and Diwali slots. But no one would dare to pick an Eid release date as it is common knowledge that Salman Khan will come up with a film on the festival. As of now, he is looking for the script and once it is finalised, he will soon take the film on the floors.
Karan Johar is in talks with Salman Khan for a big budget film. It is still in the initial stages and all the details regarding the script, director etc have been kept under wraps. Still, it will be interesting to see the two coming together for a film after 25 years.”
Salman Khan worked with Karan Johar only once, in his directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), in which he played a notable supporting role alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. In 2014, Salman announced his participation in “Shuddhi”, a film produced by Johar and directed by Karan Malhotra, best known for his work in “Agneepath” (2012). However, the ambitious project was eventually scrapped.
After the release of “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” and before his upcoming Eid 2024 film, Salman Khan has another release “Tiger 3”. The film is produced by Yash Raj Films, owned by Aditya Chopra and directed by Maneesh Sharma. The film stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi alongside Salman.
