Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan join Priyanka Chopra for pics in matching black outfits at the Citadel London premiere

London premiere of Citadel: Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden shine as the team of the Indian version. The much-awaited action thriller web series, Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, premiered in London on Monday. The event saw the presence of the team of the Indian version, including actors Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and director duo Raj and DK, who were all dressed in black.

Varun wore a black see-through T-shirt teamed with matching denims, boots and a jacket, while Samantha looked stunning in a black co-ord set with a statement neckpiece and bracelet. He posed for photographs with Raj and DK, who were present at the event.

Priyanka, who plays the lead role of Nadia Singh, looked stunning in an off-shoulder red gown, while Richard, who plays Mason Kane, wore a black suit. The actress’ husband Nick Jonas and mother Dr Madhu Chopra were also present.

Produced by Russo Brothers, the web series will premiere on Friday, 28 April exclusively on Prime Video. The show will start with two episodes and thereafter a new episode will be released every Friday till May 26.

In a recent interview with PTI, Samantha shared her experience of working with Raj and DK, who have previously worked in the popular series The Family Man. He praised her ability to push the boundaries even further with action and emotion. However, the actor also revealed that she battled myositis, a condition that causes muscle inflammation and weakness, while shooting for the show.

Citadel promises to be an adrenaline-fueled series with a thrilling storyline and action-packed visuals that fans are eagerly waiting to witness.
