The Indian film industry is in shock at the news of the demise of Pamela Chopra, wife of late veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra. Pamela Chopra passed away early morning at the age of 74. She was the mother of Yash Raj Films (YRF) head Aditya Chopra and mother-in-law of actress Rani Mukerji.
According to the official statement released by YRF, Pamela Chopra’s last rites were performed today at 11:00 am in Mumbai. The statement also requests privacy for the family at this moment of deep sadness and reflection.
The entire film industry was saddened by the news of his demise and as a mark of respect, Salman Khan canceled the premiere of his film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
