Important: Please Read Before Using Any Calculator
The calculators, tools, and all content on FEM Society are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
Not a Substitute for Medical Advice
FEM Society provides evidence-informed tools to help women understand their health, but these tools cannot replace a healthcare provider’s knowledge of your individual medical history, physical examination findings, diagnostic test results, or clinical judgement.
Results from our calculators are statistical estimates based on population-level research. Individual results will vary. A result that falls outside a “normal” range does not mean you have a medical condition. A result within a “normal” range does not mean everything is fine. Only a qualified healthcare professional can make a diagnosis.
Always Consult a Healthcare Professional
Always seek the advice of your GP, obstetrician, gynaecologist, or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or calculated on this website.
Medical Emergency
This website is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 (UK), 911 (USA), or your local emergency services immediately.
Specific Limitations by Category
Fertility & Reproductive Health
Ovulation, fertility, and IVF calculators provide statistical estimates only. Fertility is influenced by many individual factors that a calculator cannot assess. If you are experiencing difficulty conceiving, please consult a fertility specialist or reproductive endocrinologist.
Pregnancy
Pregnancy calculators provide estimates based on standard obstetric formulae. Your due date, gestational age, and pregnancy milestones should be confirmed by your healthcare team, typically through ultrasound dating. Always follow the guidance of your midwife or obstetrician.
Postpartum & Baby
Baby medicine dosage calculators provide estimates only. Always verify any medicine dosage with a pharmacist or GP before administering medication to a child. Do not give ibuprofen to babies under 3 months or to children with asthma without medical advice.
Mental Wellness
Our mental wellness screeners (anxiety, burnout, mood tracking) are not diagnostic tools and are not validated clinical instruments. They may indicate areas that warrant further exploration with a healthcare provider. If you are in mental health crisis, please contact a crisis line or seek emergency care.

Hormone & Lab Results
Calculators for AMH, FSH, and thyroid function are interpretive tools only. Lab reference ranges vary between laboratories. Blood test results must always be interpreted in the context of your full clinical picture by a qualified healthcare provider.
Evidence Base
Our calculators are built using published clinical research, WHO guidelines, NICE guidelines, and peer-reviewed medical literature. However, medical evidence evolves, and our tools may not reflect the most recent clinical guidance at all times. We review and update our calculators regularly.
No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Using FEM Society does not create a doctor-patient relationship or any professional-client relationship of any kind. FEM Society does not provide personalised medical, clinical, or therapeutic recommendations.
Financial & Legal Content
Our financial calculators (freelance rate, salary negotiation, debt, investment, tax) are for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute financial advice. Tax estimates are approximations — consult a qualified accountant for your specific tax situation. Legal disclaimers apply to all legal-related content.
By using FEM Society, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Medical Disclaimer and our Terms of Use.
